How To: Spread Kid Cudi

March 18, 2010

So, you’ve found your favorite new artist, Kid Cudi of course! You like his beats, and his lyrics seem fresh to you, but unfortunately, most of your friends don’t listen to his songs that much, which is obviously no fun. However, this was my case awhile ago, but now all my friends have Kid Cudi on their iPods and jam out to his songs often! Loving an artist is a lot more fun when you’re friends can join in on the fun.

If you’re wondering on how to get your friends converted to Kid Cudi, its really simple and there are a few different ways you can do it…

Listen to Kid Cudi when you are around your friends.

Whether it be in the car, at a party, sitting around smoking, or just sharing the same iPod, put on some Kid Cudi and expose them to the world of his music. Chances are, unless they are sincerly crazy, they’ll dig his music and ask you for more!

Make CD’s to share.

Have a large Kid Cudi library? Don’t horde it and keep it to yourself, share it! Make some mixtapes and burn some CD’s and give them out to your friends. Won’t take long for them to start listening to your songs and asking you for more!

Exchange artists with others.

Although you may have your favorite artist, and even a favorite song, it’s always good to expand the horizon and get some new artists and songs from your friends. Something I personally love to do is just sit with my friend with your iPods and go through them and share and compare library. It’s a great way to find new artists, and share your favorite artists like Kid Cudi.

Now, go out there and spread the word of Kid Cudi! You’ll be happy you did when you and your friends are partying to the same tune.

Later cudder fans!

XXL Mag’s ’2010 Freshmen’ – List Leaked

March 13, 2010

It’s almost that time again, XXL (major hip hop magazine) is getting ready to publish their Top Ten Freshmen of 2010 list. Kid Cudi appeared on the 2009 list last year, in case you forgot. However,  there has been some hype with the screen shot that was released (below) containing, supposedly, the list for this year.

Leaked list for XXL Magazines' 2010 Freshmen

However, according to OneSmash.com XXL sent out a statement saying:

I’m writing from XXL to let you know the email about XXL’s 2010 Freshman Class
is a fake list that did not come from our magazine.

While we are flattered about the enthusiasm and heat The Freshman Class generates,
this list did not come from XXL and was most likely created and leaked by someone in hopes of boosting their career.

We are always on the lookout for the most promising artists who do, in fact, make it into XXL.

The current issue of XXL (our double Dec/Jan 2010 issue with 50 Cent on the cover) is on stands now.

So it seems this may actually NOT be the real list, however when the official list is published, you can find the real deal here my friends.

Stay fresh!

Cudi & Snoop Joint Recorded

March 8, 2010

So cud has been up to a lot lately, and has updated his blog a lot lately. Let’s get down to the good stuff…

Awhile back, around the time of MOTM coming out, there was a joint that Cudi worked on with Snoop leaked out. Well, it’s finally been recorded. Wanna listen?

Download it here!

Like that combo? You’ll probably like their other joint together:

Now, I just want to tell you two great things about our Cudi:

1) He works hard! This dude is putting a lot of effort to give us some of the new songs that we’ll come to love!

2) He does his work for the art, you can’t find that everywhere these days! And he doesnt forget about us…yup.

Well peace and love Cudi fans
